Where the work happens
The Caterm daemon runs on your computer and connects outward to the API. Your browser uses the API to reach that enrolled device. Agent and terminal processes run on the device, with the local user's permissions and configuration.
Choose your starting point
- Getting started — connect a machine or run the local development stack.
- Daemon & CLI — configure credentials, file roots, and local agent executables.
- Security model — understand identity, ownership, and capability boundaries.
Available today and what's next
Codex and Claude Code conversations, scheduled workflows, and browser terminals are implemented. Remote desktop is a preview and needs platform setup and permissions. Devices can be shared with other verified accounts; conversations stay private to their creator.
